Along with the summer season comes a great variety of summer crops and we’ve got some big beets in the house. Pictured is one of the beets harvested in one of our biggest US food harvests yet.
Our Asian Greens are huge! Here is a full grown Vitamina plant – similar to tatsoi or Bok Choy.
The HDFI is a breeding ground for knowledge. A group of students came out to HDFI to learn about pH, nutrients, hydroponics, compost and pollination. It’s always exciting to see people interested in what’s going on around the farm.
